What is play?
Children and play are cannot be separated. Play is their business. They are natural players. As parents, we have to give them opportunity to play. Kids especially, age 2 to 4 years old are very active in playing. Everything they want to know and explore. Below are what can make them play with:
- Mud, dirt, sand, rock and even animals like cats, hen and frogs they also playing
- Like to jump, dance, listen to music/story and watch cartoon
But beware, as adult we have to watch out your kids while playing to make sure their safety.
Why play?
There can be various reason for children to play, including:
- Trying out and practicing new skill
- Learning about relationship with other people
- Building language skills
- Encouraging imagination and creativity
- Working to understand how the world works

SALAM LEBARAN...

The Programme Content
The ALIMKids Playgroup's programme is designed carefully for the children aged 2-4 years old, including the Khalifah Method to introduce them being a Muslim in a simple way that they can understand.
This programme is provided lots of opportunities to children in increasing their social, communication and motor skill. Thus, parents especially mothers or female guardians are allowed to be with their children during the playgroup session to encaurage and make them feel more comfortable. Furthermore, mothers can have the quality time while playing and have fun together with their children.
It is only an hour session per week on weekends. Therefore, especially for the working mothers you should grab this an hour as your quality time to joy together with your little ones.
There are 6 Modules in order to complete the programme, i.e in each module comprises of 8 weekly topics with different theme in each week.
What will we do during this an hour session?
In this an hour session, your children can play, sing, dance and learn in informal way.
During the session, will have the Story Telling, Art and Craft, Active Play, Early Alphabet Recognition (Phonics) and the introductory of being Khalifah.

Why ALIMKids Playgroup?
At ALIMKids Playgroup, we offered a ''play and learn'' program as below:
- An integrated complete curriculum for children ages 2 to 4 years old for 1 hour only on every weekends;
- Carefully designed set of lesson lans to develop healthy, physically fit, intelligent and competent Muslim children;
- The program comprises of both whole language (thematic approach) and phonics (early literacy) using resources relating to Islam;
- Instilling in the children Oneness of God in early concept of Tauhid;
- Cleanliness in Fiqh;
- Stories from the Quran in Sirah; and
- Simple daily du'a.
Why kids need playgroup?
Playgroup session can help children to grow up happy and healthy. Other than that, during playgroup, chilldren can:
- Play and learn together through informal play;
- Have an opportunity to learn simple rules and routines;
- Develop their social and communication skills while playing with new friends;
- Have fun together with their parents especially their mothers.
